The workers are friendly, which is refreshing because you don’t usually find that at the Post Office for some reason. But, I ship things for a living and I’m new to the area and I have never had so many issues being charged for shipping more than it should’ve been. I had a 3 pound package that they tried to say it was 17 pounds and it is the second exact item that I have shipped and I know that it didn’t weigh that. I have a postal scale in my home, I’m like three or four packages now that they’re claiming I owe postage on and this has never been an issue for me until I moved there. I also don’t appreciate being gaslit by the Post Office and told that they rang our doorbell to pick up a package when no they didn’t, they also didn’t have me sign for something. They didn’t even bother trying. They just left a note in the mailbox and I waited for it all day. I filed a complaint about the overcharging and of course, I’ve heard literally nothing. And I never will. It’s pretty crazy that I have never had this happen to me in the four years. I’ve been shipping things, but I moved to that town and all of a sudden three out of seven or eight packages that I’ve sent I’ve been charged more for. And the one is an outright lie, it did not waste 17 pounds it was a plastic plaque that is cheap and flimsy. Unfortunately, you can’t prove it because you hand the package off and they tell you OK you’re good you can go and then they decide that they’re gonna say you owe more. That shouldn’t even be legal. I wish there was another town that wasn’t so far away so I could just go ship from that one and not deal with this problem anymore. And unfortunately, I don’t see it getting any better, I spoke to a nice lady at the post office but as nice as she is, just saying that these things aren’t a problem or didn’t happen isn’t working for me. It is a problem, and it is happening. But like I said, there’s nothing you can do about it. That’s the government for you, you’ll take what they do and there’s nothing you can do about it.

Genuinely one of the worst post offices ive had the unfortunate displeasure of having mail routed through, packages arrive late frequently, the office itself looks severely under maintained due to poor supervision, and several of my packages have arrived badly damaged. If I could give less than one star I would.

Continues to scan packages for “out for delivery” and never delivering them. Classic move.
