The official website states that they accept walk-in appointments, which was the primary reason I chose to go there without booking ahead. However, upon arrival, the staff were unwilling to accommodate walk-ins. This inconsistency between the online information and the actual service provided is frustrating and wastes customers’ time. The staff behaviour matched what I later noticed in other online reviews – indifferent and not particularly helpful in addressing the discrepancy between the website and reality. I strongly recommend that the post office update their website to reflect the accurate services offered, including clear guidance about the requirement for appointments, so that customers can plan their visits accordingly. Overall, service reliability and customer transparency need improvement at this branch.

- FFFelicityOct 31, 20251.0Such malpractice behavior will make us never use USPS again. I went to the nearby Hamel post office to send a regular letter on 10/31/2025 . The female employee told me my letter was bulgy and can't be sent by regular mail. It can only be sent by parcel, which would take three days and include delivery confirmation. I told her I didn't need those services. Then, I asked her if there were any other cheaper options, and she said "No, this is the only choice." Finally, I paid $7.5 (Ground Advantage) just for a bulgy letter. When I got home, my husband told me that I could have other cheaper shipping methods. That's outrageous! She was using her position of authority to demand that I pay more postage than I should. She deliberately made me use more expensive service. If I had known this, I would have gone to UPS, which is cheaper than USPS !! Furthermore, I also bought two sets of stamps, and the female employee just left them on the table. It was raining outside, so I had to ask her for an envelope to put the stamps in. The service was terrible!
