- FLFelicity LanOct 31, 20251.0Such malpractice behavior will make us never use USPS again. I went to the nearby Hamel post office to send a regular letter on 10/31/2025 . The female employee told me my letter was bulgy and can't be sent by regular mail. It can only be sent by parcel, which would take three days and include delivery confirmation. I told her I didn't need those services. Then, I asked her if there were any other cheaper options, and she said "No, this is the only choice." Finally, I paid $7.5 (Ground Advantage) just for a bulgy letter. When I got home, my husband told me that I could have other cheaper shipping methods. That's outrageous! She was using her position of authority to demand that I pay more postage than I should. She deliberately made me use more expensive service. If I had known this, I would have gone to UPS, which is cheaper than USPS !! Furthermore, I also bought two sets of stamps, and the female employee just left them on the table. It was raining outside, so I had to ask her for an envelope to put the stamps in. The service was terrible!
