- CBColin BryanMar 23, 20231.0The post office constantly decides that we won’t get our mail. They stop bringing it randomly and refuse to tell us what the issue is. I had to leave work to go pick up my wife’s medication that she is not able to go and get and was handed a packet with a notice saying they won’t deliver due to snow on it. They never gave me the notice at my home, only once I went in person. I have made sure there is a safe path for them to take but was told that they want a path through my lawn. I am not going to do that because there is absolutely no reason for that, they can use the shoveled walkway to get to my house. They suggested that I put a new mailbox in at the end of my sidewalk, it is winter in MN with 81 inches of snow so far this year, how incompetent does someone have to be to suggest you dig a post through frozen ground and 3 feet of snow and ice to make their job easier? I have filed complaints many times to many different people, those working at Glencoe retaliate against anyone who they perceive has mildly inconvenienced them. My family has medication and medical supplies mailed for various conditions that can be debilitating at times. The lack of communication, empathy, and downright disrespect towards my family is saddening. It is well past frustration and anger as they seem to do whatever they want to anyone they want especially those who speak out against them. It appears as though I am not the only one who deals with this in Glencoe. I am going to contact the district again and file more complaints with more people because there is no excuse for this level of negligence.
