I've gone to this post office (and had my mail delivered by it) for the last 10 years, and while it can be a little slow sometimes, I've never had bad service. The employees have been polite and helpful. My only negative is long lines in December (which is to be expected). I'm just grateful we still have a federal post office service that is cheaper than the for-profit services. Thank you post office staff who make everything happen in front and behind the scenes!

Positive: lots of parking. Negatives: impressively slow, freezing cold temps, 0/2 employees knew what they were doing

I came in to get Money order around 11.00am today. There was only 1 customer ahead of me changing their address.I approached the guy at the counter and paid for my money order.I remembered that I needed a stamp as well.He snappy at me and said you should have included it in the transaction.I apologized and said I’m sorry I spaced out and he continued saying well it would be easier if you had included it.I kept quiet and gave him $5 as I didn’t have loose change. He kept complaining and I said there’s no need to be angry as I just didn’t have change. When he gave me my balance I took it and then suddenly he said I think I gave you extra Pennie’s.I said didn’t you count? Then I said I guess you can have all my pennies then.I haven’t had such an experience before so I asked him what was his name he refused to give me.So I told the next cashier to give me his name and he refused so I got the supervisor’s number and called and explained how belittled I felt and how he was so dismissive. She was so nice and apologized about what happened.I will never go back to Eden Prairie post office again. It was my first and it will be my last time.No one deserves rude treatment. It felt like he didn’t want to be there at all.Sad
