Very helpful staff. I’ve been in here a few times, but the last time I went in, I had a CD-ROM that I couldn’t read at home because I realized I had no devices with the CDR reader anymore… didn’t know what to do so I brought it in and they were helpful enough to put it into one of their staff computers (if that was a employee violation please ignore it) to try and help as much as possible. Will be bringing all of my printing needs here.

This is my second time, getting some updated ideas and prints for our company to use at tradeshows. I had my own ideas, but needed help. Alaya helped me and was great! Communicated ideas and we went ahead with his ideas. The end result actually exceeded my expectations. Timely turnaround, great price, quality result!

This place handles things very slowly and unprofessionally. Don't choose to hold a package at this location because they don't even accept it. Their job is to hold packages when people want to hold packages at the location. They said they couldn't even though they were open and that's their job. I ordered a package that was half my paycheck and I wanted the extra security of holding it at a fedex location and they couldn't handle it. It's a shipping company. You're supposed to be able to hold packages at your location.

You are better off putting your valuables in a paper sack, scrawling an address on the side with a crayon and flinging it out onto HWY5. It is more likely that a curious passerby will pick it up and throw it out the window some ways closer to its destination than FedEx is going to get it there. Furthermore, when it is really important there will be no way to speak with a human agent to try to resolve the issue. FedEx used to have one of the most powerful brands and they have run it into the ground.

Today I went to ship a small package and was told it was against regulation to use my own box. This came up only when I asked how much additional insurance was going to be. If I had said nothing it would have been shipped. The person who quoted this regulation was a female clerk and it seemed odd since I've shipped units like this for years and never experienced this. I told her I was taking my business elsewhere. She actually called the next closest store to try to block me from shipping the unit there; when I arrived I was told that she said the condition of the box was the reason she had try to stop the shipment and the clerk at Eden Prairie fedex examined the box and said it was fine. So the result of this overzealous employee was that she lied twice, once to me about this regulation and once to the Eden Prairie store about what she had told me. It seems in these reviews there have been other problems with phantom regulations that only this store seems to know. I recommend you demand to speak to a manager or call another store to verify anything that seems odd here. I'll be filing a formal complaint so fedex is aware of this behavior here.
Edit: The manager did personally call me after hearing about the situation to help me understand some of the conflicting policies that can exist in such a complicated service industry. I do believe she was sincere in her efforts which should be noted here. From the discussion I see that this is a ambiguity that happens at the corporate level which is why my experience changed from location to location. I'll leave it at that and raise my rating three stars because of the personal attention I received with advice that will actually help in the future. The remaining star can't be checked because of the way the original clerk handled the situation.
