The 1star reviews are totally bogus - mostly from people who don't even live in the area (Newport News? Naples?). I've dealt with this office for the past three years and they are kind, considerate, and a pleasure to work with. Take it from a local, not from jerks that live elsewhere.

I've gotten mail several times recently that say someone else's name and street address or where it's our surname but not our address. I've simply circled the address/name and placed it back with a note on it. The latest incidence was waiting for my grandson's driver's license to arrive since last summer! It never arrived and it's February, 2019! After enquiring, found out our small, Bovey Post Office, sent it back saying there was no postal box number on it. Remember, this is a small town (under 700 population with some rural areas included), and they know WHO we are! I was advised by our postal person to put # box number on the address after a physical address if there was no space for a box number to be written in the spaces. Why would the DMV only put the physical address on mail and NOT put the postal box number too? I have also had mail that I picked up which had our zip code with four digits after it with our postal box number, but was told that was NOT good enough! What can we do about every piece of mail being delivered even if when there's NO PLACE for a BOX NUMBER? We do NOT go by physical address, because we do NOT have home delivery. Has common sense left the post office?
