- JKJonathan KongNov 10, 20251.0I’m not familiar with shipping packages , so I didn’t know what to expect on pricing. The Indian Lady told me it would cost $120 to send my cashier’s check to Austin, Texas, and gave a confusing explanation about why it was so expensive. Even though I was hesitant, I was in a rush and decided to trust her judgment. Later, friends and family told me I’d been overcharged and that it should have been at most $30. And after doing research it seems I got played. That’s partly on me for being naive and trusting the best in people first, but $120 to ship a piece of paper is ridiculous. I’m disappointed in myself and disgusted that this UPS Store would take advantage of customers like that.

They were incredibly patient while I juggled messages from the buyer and tried to make sure everything was just so. I know I wasn’t the speediest customer, and honestly, I probably tested their saint-like patience. But they never rushed me or made me feel like a bother. That kind of kindness and customer care deserves serious credit. Edit 7/23: Sue is absolutely amazing, too! She helps me every time—whether it’s a big shipment or a small one. Today I brought in a large eBay sale, and I walked out feeling totally confident it was in the best hands.
