This is the rudest post office I have had the displeasure of using. Not once over the course of five years have I had a positive experience. I’ve watched them be short with other customers, my wife has come home upset by them, and today the woman working the counter had a real attitude problem. I normally never post reviews but frankly I’m ashamed that this is my town’s postal service and I’m tired of it. If the staff hate their jobs that much they should seek a new line of work.

I stopped in today 06/03/2025 to drop off 2 packages that I had ready to go. Clerk walked up and greeted me and asked if I was dropping off, I replied with a smile "Yes and could I have a receipt please?". The clerk lost her mind over me politely asking for a receipt. She turned to her computer, scoffed at me and shook her head. Confused as to what I had done to illicit such a response I asked if it was a problem that I wanted a receipt. She replied "Nope." with an attitude. Then proceeded to tell me it's no different than if you just leave them on the counter and that everything gets scanned. I explained that the receipt is my proof to the buyer that I dropped the packages off. She of course gave me more attitude and had a disgusted look on her face. I asked if she was having a bad day and she again replied "Nope" with a pissed off sour look on her face. I've been dropping packages off here off and on for a couple years, I usually deal with someone else who didn't appear to be there today. I've never been treated like this over simply wanting a receipt. I made sure to leave appropriate feedback using the qr code on my receipt.

Even after I've gone into the post office in person to attempt to resolve this problem, I am still getting my next door neighbors mail, every week, as well as a former resident's mail. If you can't read the mail you're delivering you're in the wrong line of work. I'M NOT A MAIL CARRIER, SO STOP MAKING ME HANDLE OTHER PEOPLE'S MAIL AND DELIVERING IT BACK TO YOU! I've already told you about both of these issues. Fix it. You're ridiculous. Update: 1-23-19. Two more pieces of mail that are addressed to some house down the road, gleefully mixed in with my mail. So which house is your carrier delivering to? How hard is this job? Seems harder than my job... are you hiring? I can do this job if you pay me. Not sure what to do with this other chaps mail though... get it together, you guys are terrible.
