- AZamanda zimmermanJan 14, 20261.0This was the second appointment we had made to get a passport for our daughter. The first one was cancelled at the Pontiac location where they ended up not having anyone to do passpoerts that day, so we made an appointment here instead, big mistake. Received a confirmation. Husband left work early and we took our daughter out of school early to make the appointment, only to find out when we got there that also at this location "the person called in" that does passports. The best part was that we had a confirmation email but he didnt see us on the list, so this time we didn't even get a call, but he did show me a long list of other unfortunate people whos appoinments were also cancelled yesterday. No apology, nor help with finding another location, nor any acknowledgement on the inconveniance this caused. We now have an appointment with the clerks office who stated this is something they hear a lot and assured us that they do not cancel appointments. If you need a passport I would definitely stay away from trying to use any USPS locations as they seem to just cancel appointments anyway.
