I had an appointment cancelled for the Shelby Township office last-minute for a passport. I went here. They said they couldn't take me because they were too busy and handed me a sheet of places to call. I went back inside literally no more than 5 minutes later to place a money order for a clerk's office that would take me and the same woman that told me they were too busy had no passport line. As she rang up my money order FOR a passport, I said "So you still can't take me?" And she goes "I guess we can now." She could have easily said "Hey, if you hang here and I get a cancellation, I can take you." I was in and out in 5 minutes. She had to have had enough experience to know that there would be down time of 5 minutes within the hour to squeeze me in.

Went in here with PRE-LABELED and PRE-PACKAGED packages. Very organized. The worker told me that because I wanted a receipt, she would only scan FIVE packages at a time and then I had to return to the back of the line?? I had to return to the back of the line four times. Absolutely ridiculous. It’s a matter of her scanning and moving onto the next one but refused to do more than 5 at a time if someone was behind me. If they were not prelabeled and packaged, I could see that. But given that all the work was done for her and ALL she had to do was scan them, it was extremely unnecessary and inconvenient of this “only 5 at a time rule:” I ship a lot and have NEVER had any other USPS have this absurd rule. She was also extremely rude about it and would tap the green smiley face on the credit card machine before you even saw what it said to make it look like people always said they have a courteous experience. Awful.

Don't bother calling because they don't answer the phones, and if they do pick up the phone, you hit the jackpot. But wait, when I asked why a piece of mail showed up on the digest, but not in my mailbox, the mailman was totally clueless, shrugged his shoulders and said it'll show up eventually. Gee, that was ROCKET SCIENCE! Completely unprofessional, UNRELIABLE, poor attitude and this post office has gone way downhill. They're only there for their paychecks. Postmaster needs to go! Missing mail from Saturday & will no longer use the postal service for anything. ALL packages will be sent using UPS first, then FED-X Get your acts together people! 👎

I received a package from another country over the holiday. I have photo proof it was placed in MY mailbox. What do you think happened? My illustrious mail carrier REMOVED the package as it was a foreign service that delivered the package. Being the holidays and all, you would think the carrier would exit the vehicle and maybe place package on porch maybe?? Not this one. The carrier legally “stole” my package and sent it back to the shipper. I tell ya, you couldn’t pay me to use the usps. This organization disgusts me with its “elitist” attitude. I don’t know if I’ll ever see the package/item. People, use FedEx or UPS. These private companies have a 100 times more accountability AND reliability.

In an honest forgetful moment I forgot to tape my box. Had the prepaid label and everything prepared. I asked if I could please have a piece of tape and they said it’d be $3.99. I was shocked- It was seriously one piece needed for a small box. Absolutely ridiculous and unhelpful.
