I’d give it a negative if I could. Can’t deliver a package to the correct address. This facility needs staff that cares.

I have filed two complaints, called the phone number, and gone into the post office twice to see where on earth all of our mail and packages since Thanksgiving have disappeared to. I filed a mail hold for when I was gone for Thanksgiving that ended on Dec 1st, and have by Dec 18th still received NO MAIL OR PACKAGES AT ALL, despite me bringing the issue both to this post office in person and filing complaints online with my “end of mail hold” service confirmation in hand. The attendant I spoke to lied to my face and said our mail would be coming today and shoved me aside —only for me to watch the carrier drive past our house again and again with no deliveries. Worst of all I can’t even return the packages they’re “holding upon my request” because of the false mail hold. I am pregnant and this post office is holding essential items for my pregnancy that I cannot receive nor get a refund on. If anyone actually reads these reviews, please for the love of God can you fix this??? I’ve tried every other way. CAH546855824

My Review is more for USPS overall, more than just this location. I ordered a computer part via Amazon, and the seller decided to ship it USPS requiring a signature, when that was not a delivery method I had chosen or requested. Due to this, a delivery was attempted when I wasn't home, so I had to contact USPS which, was entirely automated. After 20-30 minutes of going through the automated system and multiple attempts because it kept glitching out, it sent me a link where I could select a redelivery attempt and date. I chose to pick it up at the closest post office the next day and even took a half day off of work so I could do this, and refused a redelivery attempt. Next day I went to that post office (Grawn, MI), and they said they didn't have the package and they don't service my area (even though it's the closest post office?) I showed them the confirmation and everything, even the text telling me what address to go to. The employee told me I had to go all the way to the Traverse City location, 20 minutes away, and see if they had it. So I go. Get all the way there and they tell me they had attempted another delivery and the driver was on their way back... finally got my package. To top it all off, the package looked like someone had either set something heavy on top of it, sat on it, stepped on it - something. Mind you this is a small package with a $330 PC part it that's very fragile (something the seller didn't even have the postal service mark on it). I'm not adding a photo of the box because it's damaged where my address is, but attached is a photo of the dented item from inside the box. Luckily the actual item was okay. Giving 2 stars because not all of this is the fault of this location, and the people at this location were nice and helpful. But I do not recommend USPS for shipping services of anything other than paper mail. Their automated customer service is terrible and inaccurate.

My packages almost never arrive on the delivery date. they’re always late. It’s clear there aren’t enough drivers in the area to keep up. At this point, I’d rather just pick up my orders myself instead of waiting around for another missed delivery.

Everytime I come here there's a long line. just waited in line for 15 minutes, by the time I left there were 7 more people in line behind me. Google Maps confirmed people typically spend up to 20 minutes here. But 90% of people are either picking up mail from a PO box or dropping off a package and pay for shipping which should take a couple minutes not 20. I just don't understand why in the middle of the day there's only 1 clerk working the front at a downtown store front. There's space for 4 cashiers and it says "less busy than usual" so I'd hate to see the line on a typical day.
