Amanda is always super helpful whenever I have questions about my packages!! She is always on top of service requests and calls to give updates whenever she can. Today she even called me to confirm that I had received my package in the mail which I appreciate!! To anyone who has had a less than positive experience with the Stockbridge branch, please be mindful that the staff are just trying their best - things happen that are out of their control and we need to have more patience. Thank you again Amanda and Happy Holidays 🫶🏻🫶🏻

I would give this Post Office negative stars if possible. I was living in Stockbridge, caring for my disabled mother. I never change my residence so when she passed, there was really no need for me to leave a forwarding address, as there would be no more mail being sent to her house. The only mail I had delivered to Her house where my online shopping Purchases. I forgot to change the shipping address on one place that I hadn’t bought from in over six months. When the first package arrived, The carrier saw the signs indicating that the house was vacant, and followed procedure by returning my package to send her which was fine. Apparently, there was no communication between the carriers about the house being vacant. The next day, another carrier delivered my package with a labor crew there working on the house. I went to the house, four hours later, and the package was not there. And of course, the post office blamed it on me For having it sent to her an address I was no longer at. The employee is at the post office were extremely rude to me and did everything they could do to avoid having to give me an answer as to why one carrier follows procedure and another one doesn’t. I had a $300 package stolen and the Stockbridge post office is blaming everything on me. For the 10 years I was living with my mother, numerous packages and envelopes came to her house that I would take to the post office and in a very nice and civil manner explain to them that they had been delivered to the wrong address. I spent 10 years fixing their mistakes, But when I make a mistake, the Stockbridge post office treats me absolutely awful. This is a very serious matter, and I have hired an attorney to file a complaint with the regional USPS management. The Stockbridge post office is as unprofessional as you can get and the employees there shouldn’t be working at a Girl Scout cookie stand in front of a grocery store, much less working for the government and handling people’s mail And other goods and services they depend on. I am glad that I moved out of that town and hopefully will never ever reside there again!

I have never really had a problem with deliveries or shipping from this post office, however the elderly gentleman behind the counter will give you second hand depression. What a miserable and angry person. That being said the female members of the staff are usually full of light and are very easy to deal with and talk too.

Virgil is literally the worst government employee ever. They lost our rent check in the mail. And then refused to help us with a lost international package. I was so kind and I always treat people with kindness but this man was the exact opposite. Get this man out of this post office #freevirgil I stg I am only sending my packages through the Chelsea post office.
