- RGRedi GishtoOct 25, 20251.0This office will just cancel your appointments out of nowhere the day of. This has happened twice. The first time, I went despite them calling to cancel it in the morning and I got my passport done no problem, so I guess they just hoped i didnt show up. This second time me and a few other clients were told all appointments were cancelled and we had to leave. They said they didnt have enough staff to handle everyone (the place was empty and they were pretty good at keeping it that way)
- LKLynne KolokowskiOct 21, 20251.0While I was at the Southgate post office today, the line grew and grew while one slow, unfriendly employee working at the counter was helping someone with a passport (which is not a quick transaction). It looks like most of the reviews are the same complaint that when this happens (especially during the lunch hour) another postal worker doesn’t come to the counter to help alleviate the wait! Passport applications should be taken to another area or by appointment only! And why aren’t other postal workers covering their coworkers lunch hours?? Especially at the front desk. Patrons are also on their lunch hours!
