- KJKris Jordan6 days ago5.0We moved out of state 2 years ago, and our mail forwarding expired last summer. I was very surprised, and very pleased, to receive an envelope at our new address from the Southgate Post Office containing 3 Christmas cards that were sent to our old Michigan address. Included was a hand-written note asking us to inform the senders of the new address (which we had already done, but will do again). This was above and beyond customer service as far as I'm concerned. The PO was under no obligation to forward the cards as the time had expired. Thank you to the kind employee who took the time to do this, and write a note to us during the busiest season of the year!

- CMChar MathewsDec 10, 20251.0My son who has Stage 5 kidney disease had to go to this post office five times because they don't answer their phone and his package was delivered to the wrong address. the supervisor said the carrier found the package and said she delivered it but he still didnt get it. So either the carrier lied, or it was delivered to the wrong address again. As someone who used to work at the post office I know they can track where the package was scanned and delivered. A supervisor (204B) would constantly harass me on my route and know exactly where I was. so tracking down my sons package shouldn't be too difficult.

The first time, I went despite them calling to cancel it in the morning and I got my passport done no problem, so I guess they just hoped i didnt show up. This second time me and a few other clients were told all appointments were cancelled and we had to leave. They said they didnt have enough staff to handle everyone (the place was empty and they were pretty good at keeping it that way)
