While waiting, I heard 3 announcements over an intercom system calling for certain employees to report to an assigned room. Found out later there was a staff meeting going on. In the meantime, I counted 10 customers in line behind me. The one employee seemed to be doing the best she could servicing us, however I fail to understand why I waited in line 30 mins just twenty minutes after the P.O opened. I was there to get stamps. Why were they having a staff meeting instead of having more than 1 person working to assist customers? This is the holiday season & it’s shameful to make people wait in line as long as I had to wait.
