- SPSriram Poduri2 days ago1.0Horrible attitude shown by the person at the desk, in the end he also threw the receipt on my face while saying have a good day because he saw I rated sad face on the screen. these are the people that make me feel that maybe replacing them with AI or online stuff isn’t such a bad idea. They don’t like to do the job anyway.

- SASheryl AllenSep 11, 20251.0Today (9/11) my husband went in early to the South Lyon, MI, Post Office for his 11am appointment for a passport photo and forms and was told his appointment wasn’t on their calendar. (He had registered on line and received a confirmation.) The office was virtually empty and there were TWO customer service reps behind the desk. The two employees refused to accommodate him just because it didn’t show on their schedule. ‘There aren’t any more passport appointments today,’ they said. Again, he was EARLY for his appointment and there were no other customers at that time. They continued to argue about their calendar and my husband left in disgust. That is exactly NOT serving the customer. We’re sure he’ll have better service at the Milford Post Office.
- BCBrian CSep 8, 20251.0Branch LOST our passport application packets. Birth certificates, SS#'s, everything you'd need to steal our entire family's identity. We waited several weeks and when we asked why it was taking so long they said just wait longer. After 7 weeks I called Dept of State and they confirmed no information received for any of us, and processing is currently 2-3 weeks. Went to South Lyon USPS the next day and got "well what do you want me to do?" over and over. Finally they pulled the alleged tracking number for the passport package that went out the date we came in... and it comes up as never being scanned. I asked if he planned on contacting all the others whose information was lost that day, and he says "well nobody else has said they don't receive theirs." Probably because you keep telling them to wait longer. They could not have cared less, and no surprise, we have to pay for their "service" to do it all over again. Definitely not here, will go to another USPS location.
