- SMSharon MillerJul 27, 20211.0I went to mail 2envelopes today. I was out of stamps and business envelopes, so put mailing into manila mailers. The girl at post office was training a new employee. I said I want to mail these in regular mail. She then instructed new employee on where to write, how to weigh...then go towards back and came back saying $4.50 for each envelope. I was very surprised to see how much she was charging me. I said jeez I was gonna just put a couple stamps on these, can I buy a book of stamps....the girl looked at the girl she was training and ROLLED her eyes at me!!!!! She actually rolled her eyes at me ..refused to sell me any stamps, said stamps would make envelope too fat to scan thru machines....this federal employee should be fired and taught some manners on how to treat public. No wonder post office having trouble staying open in

And the office hours are 10am-2pm, so I drove all the way there(not far but still)for nothing because now I have to go back or just go to another post office I suppose, this is a government bldg correct? Shouldn't the hours at least be correct? Or maybe at least be posted correctly.
