- MEMikki EFeb 12, 20261.0I so regret coming to this Post Office. A simple process was made more difficult than it needed to be. My goal was to apply for a passport. I came in the day before and was given an application that I filled out at home. I was told that on Thursdays no appointments were needed. I get to the Post Office at about 1:20 pm and was told to sign in on a clip board and my name would be called and to wait in the lobby. So I waited and waited and waited. It wasn't until at about 2:18 pm that I walked back into the office and inquired about service. At first one clerk denied telling me to wait in the lobby. I know who told me to sign the clip board and wait but he never admitted he did. The young man started to process the paperwork but told me that the paperwork I had filled out was expired. I had to remind him that that was the paperwork he had given me the day before. So, I had to fill out another application. I did not leave the St. Clair Shores Post Office until about 2:40 pm. Absolutely unprofessional and ridiculous. Absolutely unacceptable.
