I've never been to such a rude USPS location. There are a few employees here that are quite nice, but this one lady is completely dominating the atmosphere and being unnecessarily rude with everyone. I'm guessing she's a manager since nobody is calling her out for it. I'm watching her for ten minutes as I wait, and she's being super combative with everyone. Just an unpleasant experience overall. My first and last time coming here.

I just wanna say that this is the best post office in Michigan. Shanika helped me so much with my passport and Charletta actually called me because I left my laptop back there with my laptop in it. They literally saved my life. It’s my work laptop with all of my work data on it. Thank you so much to both of you.

I ALWAYS COME TO THIS POST OFFICE. This WAS my favorite post office. But after today I will NEVER step foot in this facility again. I have a small business selling and shipping perfume oils and perfumes. The perfume sprays I always mark as hazmat per the rules. Never is it over 16oz. It’s barely even 5oz. I limit my sale to one perfume spray per customer so everyone gets the chance to buy.
I come into this location at 4:50pm Saturday 12/6 and was called up to the register by an African American woman with a braided bun, brown skinned, …about 5’0 feet maybe 5’2 max. She was the second cubicle from the right and I believe the third or fourth from the left. She sees my packages marked as HAZMAT…..she asked what was inside, I told her perfume oils and very few perfume sprays in 3 of the 12 packages I was sending off. She rolls her eyes and tells me to tell her exactly how many ozs is each perfume spray. I have zero clue off the top of my head NO ONE HAS EVER ASKED ME THIS!!! I have been shipping at this location for 4 months now. One time I even came in with over 10 sprays all marked as hazmat and nobody did what this woman did. I begin scrolling through my phone to see if maybe I have photos of the items and I realize she’s standing behind. Demanding to OPEN ALL OF MY PACKAGES TO SEE WHATS INSIDE???? Like WHAT?????? I just took my time and NEATLY wrapped and packaged each box/ envelope so that these ladies can see I care and you want me to rip them all open so you can see what’s inside when i literally just told you and it’s marked as hazmat???? FOR WHAT? If I mark the package hazmat does that or does that not mean GROUND TRAVEL ONLY? Does that or does that not mean that there is perfume inside be careful??? Exactly what reason does this woman have to want to lay her “over her job” nitpicking, freshly rolled at me eyes on what’s already extremely clear?? If this be the case then either she is wrong or every other USPS employee that has serviced me needs to be coached. Because NOBODY HAS EVER, EVER EVER asked me to rip open and destroy my packages so they can take a look at what the heck I clearly just said was in the box and is marked correctly. I will not stop at this review….i will get her name and I will be calling until I get an answer on the proper protocol. Because of this woman….my packages will be delayed!
