I’ve been having issues for months now getting packages delivered. At one point the mail lady decided it was appropriate to deliver an expensive package at the end of my long driveway a few feet from rifle river trail (a very busy road) and when I called to complain I was given every excuse in the book how it was MY fault, no apology. I remedied their excuses to why I wasn’t getting my packages, I shovel my walk way and the mailbox, I get my driveway plowed, I’ve moved my trashcan that has apparently been an issue. Still not receiving packages, at one point even when the snow melted for a few days she decided my front door wasn’t accessible, unless Bigfoot himself appeared and was lounging outside my door there is absolutely no reason my door wasn’t accessible, it’s actually asinine how ridiculous these excuses are getting. I have two small babies at home, I cannot drive to Prescott every time I need something through the mail. I depend on packages for food and diapers for my kids. Prescott post office is an absolute joke and needs to hire people who actually want to do their job.

I’ve been fighting with the post office for almost a month and a half now about having my packages ACTUALLY delivered. I’m currently expecting and have packages coming in from bother family and my insurance with expensive baby items that I need. The lady that delivers (well is supposed to deliver) my mail and packages writes some bullcrap excuse every day to not deliver my mail. It’s either “driveway not plowed” when we literally shovel a path for her to walk to the door every time it snows AND I pay 25$ to get our driveway plowed because she just won’t pull in to deliver items. Recently she’s been using the “animal interference” so she doesn’t have to get out of the damn car. We don’t even have dogs or any animals outside, only cats inside. I also have cameras on my property that show every time she used that excuse there were no stray dogs in our yard. I’m tired of complaining about it to the post master and not having anything done about it. I will continue complaining everyday if I have to. I should not have to drive almost 25-30 minutes to pick up my packages that could be delivered to my door. Especially when I cannot physically drive right now and my fiancé works almost an hour away and doesn’t get home until way after the post office closes. If you can I heavily recommend you don’t have the post office deliver your mail and use UPS or another postal service to just save you the trouble AND money.
