We have had nothing but issues with our carrier bending and ruining mail that is marked "Do not Bend" or "Do not Crease". Books and pictures have been ruined countless times. We have spoken with the counterperson and asked that if the items do not fit, would they please leave a note or slip, and we would grab the items from the post office. It still continues to happen...and this time it was with our family pictures. Just pure laziness on the part of the carrier.

I had one of the worst experiences ever today at the Portland USPS location. The worker who helped me was extremely rude from the moment I walked up. They raised their voice, talked over me, and even used profanity while I was just trying to ask a simple question. I left feeling disrespected and honestly shocked that someone in customer service would act like that. Definitely needs better training and professionalism. I’ll be avoiding this location from now on.

What is wrong with our postal service today? All across the board, so I feel real bad for those few good workers out there doing their job. There are just so few that it reflects on the entire service very poorly. Every office and every service offered across the state of Michigan is in need of a MAJOR overhaul.

3/30/2020 went to the Portland post office today for the first time.... Wow. The staff was absolutely rude, hostile, and vulgar; loudly complaining, talking about the people in the lobby, swearing, And much more. She really made it clear she hated her job. I'm beyond disgusted by the local post office employees behavior.
