I have had the displeasure of living in the delivery area for this post office for over 10 years and have typically never had any issues. I ordered a package that was sent across the country and was delayed before reaching this facility. I submitted an inquiry and got a reply within a few hours, saying it was in transit and to wait 3 business days. I waited, and on the 3rd day I got a tracking update that it was routing through Chicago and ended up in Pontiac Thursday 2/26 before 9am. It was then set to 'in transit to next facility' where I presume it goes to this post office. It has been in transit between the distribution center and post office for the last SEVEN DAYS. The facilities are 3 miles apart. I submitted a second inquiry on 2/27 (after waiting the 3 business days) and have not gotten a reply. It has been 6 days since I submitted it and I am unable to submit a 3rd inquiry, because the 2nd one is still pending. Inquiries state that a response will be provided within 1-3 business days. Where the heck is my package? I emailed the supervisor that responded to my first inquiry and have not gotten a reply to that either. For what it's worth, I've personally seen my mailman delivering mail every day (except Sunday) since my package got hung up.

Would give a zero if I can. Has never been able to get a package to the distribution center even when dropped off in the morning within 24 hours. Never have gotten the package on time not even 24 hours late it's always 48 to 72 hours late when paying for priority mail Express. The last package the guy entered the information in wrong even though it was filled out correctly and sent it to the return address so I paid $35 to drive the post office to send it back to myself for $35 then had to make four trips to get my money back. Do yourself a favor and drive to a different post office. Hiring qualifications are did you graduate 6th grade if you answer yes next question is can you roll a blunt if you answered yes you are hired

NEVER USE USPS UNLESS YOU ARE SENDING A LETTER. This whole company is garbage. Everytime something gets to the Pontiac facility you can guarantee there won’t be any movement for days or it will be sent to the wrong place from there. I don’t know if it’s just laziness or incompetence. I’m thinking both.

I have to mail pieces stuck in Pontiac. One shows Origin Processing Cancellation of Postage three times. When I called during business hours, the automated message said I was calling outside of business hours and hung up on me. I'm now 30 minutes into trying to get an agent on the USPS 800 number line. They have 2 packages lost right now and no way to talk to a human. 3/3 update: More items stuck in Pontiac or lost. Multiple calls and I can't get a person on the phone. I'm regularly faced with having to refund customers for items not delivered.

Very disappointing experience with this USPS branch. I was told my mailbox key would be delivered within 2–3 days. It has now been almost 10 days, and I still do not have access to my mailbox or my important documents. This is a basic service that should not take this long. I tried calling multiple times, and most calls went unanswered. Many times I was placed on hold and completely forgotten, seems like it is done intentionally. I was also promised several callbacks that never happened. When someone finally answers, they tell you to hold while they check information, and then they never return to the call, you end up waiting indefinitely until you are forced to hang up out of frustration. The lack of communication, follow through, and accountability at this location is extremely frustrating. Customers depend on timely access to their mail, and this branch has shown very little urgency in resolving what should be a simple issue. I sincerely hope management takes this seriously and works to improve customer service at this location.
