- ABAllison BambergDec 30, 20231.0A consistent issue with this post office is that the delivery driver will pull in my driveway, never get out of the car, and then back out and leave a pick up slip in my mailbox. I was literally standing at my door ready to sign and never even got the chance. This isn't the first time I've reported it and I always get told the same thing. "We'll notify the post master" and then nothing changes. Now because it's a holiday instead of being delivered today, Saturday, like it was supposed to I have to wait until Tuesday to pick it up. This is ridiculous.
- RLRalynn LucioMay 2, 20231.0As a business hosted in Montrose that receives a lot of certified mail that needs to be signed for it is very frustrating when we have to go to the post office to get our mail. USPS just leaves a note in our mailbox that says we were closed when they tried to deliver but there is always someone here M-F 8-4. When I asked the post office about it they said honk because they are afraid of dogs. We don't hear a honk. We don't have dogs. A simple knock on the door would do the same. I wonder if they do this at subway or golds?
- KBKaren BoothApr 13, 20231.0I ordered something very small. The Post Office said “an attempt was made to deliver it” with a note in my mailbox. I was home all day & no attempt was made. Lie #1. Monday a.m. I called Montrose Post Office. “We don’t have a pkg for you” over & over & over. Lie #2. I went to the website I ordered from & low & behold there was a tracking number. I called said Post Office back & gave them the tracking number. I was put on hold & wah lah they found the pkg. I asked if the pkg was small enough to fit in the mailbox. They replied yes. Ummmmmmm, why wasn’t THAT done in the first place!!!! Put it in the mailbox!! No “attempt” was initially made !!!!!!!!!!!!! They irk my tail.
