- VTVeronica Taylor4 days ago3.0Called to ask why a package was not delivered. I received a text that my driveway and front door were inaccessible. This was at 12:14 pm. Our driveway was cleared before 10;00 am and the plow has not plowed us in. Also, our mail usually doesn’t come until 2:00 pm. I tried to call the post office and it rang for about 30 rings with no pick up or answering machine. Not good service.

Handled holds, shipping, and complicated mail to family members in Senegal, Iraq, Poland and other out of the way spots. Delivered mail from my father with advancing dementia even when the address is more than a bit cryptic. Some places in the world "store" your mail and then charge you for the service. Some places in the world open your mail and see if there is something they might be interested in. Some post offices in the USA do not greet you with a smile or have interesting stamps. We should not take our local Post Office for granted.
