  Summary: Robert Half only provides value to their clients, not to their employees. As a staffing agency, people are literally the only product Robert Half has to offer, and they treat people like trash. That is everything you need to know about them as an employer or potential employer. If you aren't selected by the employer, the Robert Half recruiters immediately forget you. Even if you specifically ask; they will not follow up with you, will not provide any feedback, and will not offer advice for improving your chances next time. You are not a person to them, you are a product or inventory for them to advertise, offer, lease, sell and nothing more. The Robert Half recruiters Ron from East Lansing and Julia from Grand Rapids are perfect examples of how not to represent a company Ron only reaches out when he can use you to pad his numbers, but doesn't bother to listen to anything you say about your preferences or previous experiences. He will sound like he's listening and may even tell you he's taking notes, but he isn't. I have specifically spoken to him regarding an experience with a local company; he said he knew someone there and would reach out to them. The next time we spoke, he didn't remember speaking about them at all and even asked if I had heard of the comany. He then tried to convince me to interview as a temp for a job I was rejected from when I applied directly. Julia emailed/called me on a Wednesday afternoon to fill two jobs: one by Friday and one by Monday. I saw them after 5pm so I drafted an email, gave my availability on Thursday, and attached an updated resume. I called on Thursday when I hadn't heard from her, she sent me to VM, I left a message explaining I was following up since I hadn't heard from her yet. She never responded. Later that day, I realized I hadn't actually sent the email (my fault, obviously) so I sent it, called again, was sent to voicemail again, apologized, explained and told her I would be free the rest of the day. I never heard from her again. Robert Half, as well as every other staffing agency, provide nothing of value to their employees. The only value they provide is to their clients: providing temp employees on a trial basis that can be terminated with ease, so their clients don't have to hire directly. Let's be real: ROBERT HALF DOESN'T HAVE A PRODUCT TO OFFER WITHOUT PEOPLE TO PEDDLE TO THEIR CLIENTS. So do yourself a favor and look elsewhere, because if Robert Half cared at all about their employees, the employees (and potential employees) would be treated with a lot more respect than they are.

  Fraudulent excuse for a company. I’m surprised hasn’t not been investigated. Avoid like the plague. The professionalism and promises they will advise you are all lies. Stay clear of them and their affiliated companies.
