  I could go into this post office five different days in a row needing the same thing done, and it will be handled completely differently every time. Some employees will allow something, while others say they can’t. At this point I genuinely don’t know what the actual rules are because it just depends on who you’re dealing with that day. Delivery is just as inconsistent. It can be a perfect 60° day and the tracking will say “can’t deliver due to weather,” but during an actual blizzard packages still get delivered. It makes no sense. I’ve also scheduled a redelivery for pickup at the location, only for the package to magically go back out for delivery the next day anyway. And when mail does get delivered, all of my family’s packages are often stuffed into the mailbox instead of being placed on the porch — which is literally only about 15 steps away. I was also told I had to pay 50¢ because someone sent me something with incorrect postage, which I can understand — but the way they handled it was strange. They had me put the change in an envelope and drop it in a mailbox and just “hope they get it tomorrow.” I couldn’t pay at the post office. Overall the whole experience just feels very disorganized and unpredictable. Friendly staff though from everyone I have met.

  They do not deliver to my house they always try to put the package in the mail box and it will not fit having me to make a 20 minute trip to pick it up. It also delays the day I get the package cause you can’t pick it up same day.

Please note the time and date: Arrived at USPS Facility INTERLOCHEN, MI 49643 September 15, 2023, 8:33 am No Access to Delivery Location INTERLOCHEN, MI 49643 September 15, 2023, 8:39 am Return to Sender Processed INTERLOCHEN, MI 49643 September 15, 2023, 8:58 am 25 minutes after receiving my critical medical equipment, they had already returned it to the sender without bothering to deliver it. Address was correct on the package. After reading reviews, I see this is a troubled post office and many complaints similar to mine.

  It’s now frequent to go weeks on end without mail delivery for everyone on my road. Garbage trucks, UPS, FedEx, everyone else makes it through just fine, but USPS refuses to service anyone if there’s just a single drop of rain outside! After calling numerous times, no one does anything to resolve any issues, other than offering us the option to drive there and pick it up!
