- KKKaren5 days ago3.0Normally, I have no issues with inside service at the Howell post office. However today I stood in line for 20 min. The whole time there was no one in front of me and the worker at the counter was helping 1 person with what appeared to be a lengthy process. I could hear a bunch of ladies in the back carrying on talking and laughing. No one came out to help. There were also 2 people behind me waiting. The lady at the counter was getting frustrated trying to hurry. One lady even came out of the back and saw what was going on and turned around and went back!! To me, this is unacceptable to have so many people there with no one coming to the counter to help. I usually anticipate a wait but this was ridiculous. There were people there to help and no one did.

We recently moved and had other peoples mail in our mailbox, and instead of taking other peoples mail, we left it in the mailbox box. They wrote on a junk piece of mail “you can’t just take packages you have to take the mail too, your packages are at the post office you have to come and get them” so we wrote back on the same piece of mail that it wasn’t our mail. Can’t get ahold of anyone on the phone. This is ridiculous.
