My daughter called in the morning and they said she could come in to get my granddaughter's passport from 10 a.m. to 3:30. (BOTH parents have to be present when requesting a passport for a minor.) She and her husband and child went in at 3:10 with all the appropriate documentation already filled out. All they had to do was hand it in and pay the fees. No one was there who could or would process a passport. Not everyone can get off work in the middle of the day to do this, and the very least you should expect when you do is that the personnel at the post office will be able to do their job. Otherwise, they should not say they are a passport processing facility. Same thing happened to another family member when dealing with the Hillsdale Post Office. This does not seem like a very professional way to do business.
