- SPSally PhillipsJul 22, 20241.0This is a long rant!! The past 3 years we have had our mail forwarded for 3 months in the winter. The first year I scheduled it online ~ the mail was totally screwed up! When I talked to them at the PO, I was told it's better if I schedule it with them. So the 2nd year I did just that ~ mail was still screwed up! Why fill out all the information on the forwarding card if they aren't going to follow the simple instructions anyway!? By the 3rd year I had my doubts about our PO. However, I went in to schedule the forwarding. Did you know that if you forward your WHOLE household, you do not need everyone's ID. But if you only forward 2 out of the 3 people's mail, they need both of them to come in person with their ID ~ that made absolutely NO sense to me!! But they amazed me even further today. On Saturday we were expecting several packages to be delivered. We were home ALL day, but we received a note in our mailbox stating they were sorry they missed us due to no one being home. Our cameras do not show them coming to our house!! They apparently just didn't want to take the time to bring the packages to the house. We decided to follow the instructions on that note and go online to schedule us to just pick the packages up at the PO on Monday. They loaded all of our packages up on a cart and we loaded them in our truck. Upon opening the packages, we discovered some pretty chair cushions, that we had not ordered!! Thankfully, we know the person they belong to so we will deliver them ourselves!! I have NO confidence in the Hesperia PO!
