This place is the most disrespectful facility I have ever been to my first time I been here to drop off packages and the women asked if I was gonna return with the amount of packages. I dropped off the first time which I found very rude and she said well we’re a small facility so you can’t drop off that many packages I only had about 10 packages however when I told her no this is my first time being here. Is there another cart that we can put more packages in? She said no this is the only cart and made me put all of the packages in the car which all of the packages ended up falling out. don’t recommend.

Hello READ THIS INTRO PLEASE UPDATE: I posted the below review. Gage , the post master , called me back. He stated he is new. He has no idea people are upset. You may say he should , but let's not judge before you try the following. Post your review , I did, but contact him at the post office. I mentioned Google reviews . He can't respond to them per post office policy. So it's important that you speak with him. I received a call from him as I said. I don't know that I can post or should post the number he called me on. I will inquire next time I'm in the office. If you want your story heard , write him a note, ask for him, or write a letter to the post master as he will recieve that and can contact you. My comment: from 2/15/25 Saturday . What is happening at the Hartland mi post office ?! I arrived at noon, actually 12:04 per the clerk, on Saturday and was told she 'just rolled the package cart in back' and my packages wouldn't ship until Tuesday. The offices closes at 12:30 and I was 4 minutes past her artificial cut off time . I say this because I called my daughter and she told me she regularly has issues with the workers there. She told me to go to the Milford post office. Which was 20 minutes out of my way but my packages couldn't wait til Tuesday to ship. We started working on the shipments at 8am and didn't just show up 'late'.... When I arrived in Milford , I asked the clerk what time are you open until.. '3pm' . I asked if I walked in at 2:58pm would you process my packages ... 'yes, as long as our pick up truck hadn't already left'. I thanked her for her work and told her she was appreciated. So another post office will take packages , til closing , but our local post office won't because 'she just pushed the cart in back'. The workers literally scan the tags already printed and in place by us, with a scan tool like you use at a big box store self check out. It takes literally a second ... so I had to drive 20-30 minutes in each direction because my local post office won't work . Now this lady on Saturday is 'newer' . There is a younger lady which we have several times complained about because she made up these 'rules' now adopted by her co worker. I guess it could be true that one bad apple in the bushel can spoil the entire lot. The post master has asked me to please continue to support the office because they get credit for packages and the office has been repeated threaten to be closed . It maybe that time . Now is it the post master that can't moderate his employees? Then we need a new boss. Is it the system that won't let him transfer these women to a dark warehouse sorting mail if they want to keep their jobs ? Then we need a new system! I was told the building is rented ... is that true ? If so what are 'we' the tax payers , paying in rent? Where does the Hartland post office deliver and how many vehicles do they dispatch ? We live a mile north in Hartland and our home is serviced by the Fenton post office 15 miles away. Our office is two miles south in Hartland and the Howell post office , again 15 miles away delivers there. I've complained , I've been promised things would improve , they do then return to the same issues. Issues that cost me time , fuel, and money. Is this a doge area of concern. Put up collection boxes outside the township hall or a local store. Let the ups store take over the post office boxes, and develope a weight and size scanning machine to be left in the twp lobby or local store , where ever the collection boxes end up being placed . The machine will weight and scan your package dimensions , pay and out comes a label. Pay the local store or twp offices to allow the boxes and machine to be placed there, save probably over a million dollars a year in building fees, utilities and repairs . Enough! You don't want to work , you don't want to provide the same service another branch can... what's the difference ? The union ... no. The people !!!! The boss or the workers ! The last option maybe to replace the office help entirely

Love their drop off bin for pre paid labeled packages! Wish every location did this. Only gripe is I wish they had the hours the Howell location has!

no stars. came in at the end of the day, 8 minutes to spare, they refused to serve me, went to brighton. Jim had a smile on his face, the woman, "im not holding up my truck for you," TOTALLY didn't ask her to hold up her truck. lived here for 23 years, will not step foot in that post office again. Time to extend a little grace to people, i would be fired if i turned away a client at the end of the day.

While it is a small Post Office, I have received great service here.
