Paid extra for the package priority mail because I wanted to be sure it made it to North Carolina by Thursday. The package did not make it until Saturday and the card is still not there! I looked at the tracking information and saw that they did not send the package until 6:57 am the next day! I told the clerk, a man, who was balding, that the package had perishable cookies inside, but I guess saying that and writing it on the box and paying extra for shipping didn’t matter. I know every post office isn’t as negligent, so I’ll send my packages from Pentwater next time . I’ve never had a problem there.
