  FedEx changed their policies and training a bit ago and it has been nothing but garbage since then. Drivers have no clue what they're doing and never follow policy (or sometimes do - It's hard to tell since there is zero consistency). They individually make up their own rules each day and just do whatever they want. They now require a signature for items. But they have blocked you from digitally signing for it. They have blocked you from updating delivery instructions. They won't accept notes/signatures for when you aren't home. And they don't even attempt to deliver anything that requires an in person signature. They literally write out the "attempt" slip, walk up to the door, slap it on, and leave inside of 10 seconds. No ringing doorbells, no knocking on doors, no waiting, nothing. The nearest pickup center to me is an hour away. I WILL NOT be driving there for a package that should be delivered one way or another. They've also gotten rid of their customer service chat on the website. And then good luck getting hold of a person on the phone because their automated bot refuses to do that and will literally just hang up on you for hours.
