SERNA is awesome! I had a passport appointment for my nephew and she made everything so simple. She talked to me with much respect and with calmness and explained everything in detail. The total for everything costed me close to $140. Should’ve tipped her honestly.

Never needed to review a post office. This was horrible. Went from 3 ladies (1 doing passport for the same customer the entire time) to just the passport lady. They all left as people started coming in the door and the line quickly grew to out the door. Many people eventually left. Over 40 mins later and still nobody, except the lady picking up pre-paid or pre-labeled mail or packages. Do not come here after a long day at work to risk passing out in line.

I love a good 24/7 post office!! However… the lady working the desk was absolutely horrible. Me and everyone else in the long line watched as she berated and publicly humiliated the man whose packages she was processing for no reason other than her own satisfaction. He didn’t do anything wrong and It was really hard to watch. It ended with me and half the line dropping off our packages on the counter next to her and leaving without saying a word. So all in all, a great post office, unless the self service kiosk is broken or the drop off box is jammed and you have to deal with the nasty staff.

Very frustrating experience at the downtown Detroit Post Office for passport services. There was only one employee working, and the second person was out to lunch while three appointments were left waiting on standby. After wasting a lot of time, I ended up leaving and making an appointment at a different location.
Save yourself the headache and go to another post office if you need a passport. The website is also not helpful at all — use the kiosk to make your appointment instead. Trust me, you’ll thank me later.
