It has been over eight months, and I still have not been receiving my mail. I have made multiple complaints and visited the post office several times, but the issue continues. I was told that the delivery person would start delivering my mail again, yet nothing has changed.
They instructed me to move my mailbox from my house to the porch rail, which I did, but I’m still not getting my mail. I was even told that I can only receive my mail if I’m at home, which makes absolutely no sense.
I even have the supervisor on video admitting that this has happened to other people and promising that she would make sure I receive my mail — yet I still haven’t received anything. When I called again to follow up, I was treated rudely. The employee became irritated with me simply for asking about my undelivered mail, instead of taking responsibility and making sure I got what I’m supposed to receive.
This post office is extremely unprofessional. The staff and supervisors do not handle issues properly, they don’t communicate, and they clearly do not care about their customers. I am very disappointed and frustrated with the lack of service, accountability, and professionalism.
UPDATE ***Today, I went to the post office to pick up my mail because my mail carrier continues to fail to deliver it. This issue has been ongoing for eight months. When I arrived, the supervisor informed me that my complaint is “under investigation.” In the meantime, I was told I am only allowed to pick up my mail once a week.
I explained that this policy is unreasonable and inconvenient. If I receive something important, I should be able to retrieve it immediately—not wait an entire week. I am already being inconvenienced by the lack of regular mail delivery, and now I am being further inconvenienced by additional restrictions.
I also question whether my complaint is truly under investigation, as it appears the same carrier continues to withhold my mail. The rules about when I can pick up my mail seem inconsistent and arbitrary. At first, I was told I could pick it up on anyday just have to be one day out the week and could choose which day, then the picked a day for me Friday, and than she said Monday.
It feels as though the post office is making up rules as they go, rather than addressing the real issue: my mail is still not being delivered. I have Informed Delivery and can see what mail I am supposed to receive. When I have important mail that requires immediate attention, I will continue to go and pick it up, regardless of how many times a week that may be. I have a right to receive my mail in a timely manner, and I simply want this issue properly resolved

Absolutely hate coming to this post office. Somehow everytime I’m in there, the one singular clerk they have working for the day is “on break”. They’re so unprofessional & rude, I’ve left there in tears on multiple occasions (I’m very pregnant, don’t come for me).

I can't speak for everyone else, but my 14 envelopes of paperwork was received by the company very fast. Mailed everything 2 months ago, and called them 2 days ago about the paperwork. The young black woman that was at the front was very nice, kind, and assisted me very well with no problem at all. Now, last year I did come to this same post office to mail in paperwork and the company was never receiving anything and not sure why. But, I've also experienced this situation at other different locations in Detroit/Michigan period!! I've decided to give this location another shot, and everything did workout well with no complaints.

Within the last year I lost 7 important mail that never arrived. The last was 5/23/2025. I can't go through vital mail with this institution, They very unreliable and careless. Your leadership needs to change. I would have to rate it a negative 10
