- CLChristina LDec 9, 20221.0Cass City and Deford Post Office need to get with the program. I told Casey Woodruff that she needed to put a light on the Deford post office U.S. flag and she yelled at me and said you're not my boss. I called her boss Casey Garske in Caro that the U.S. flag needs a light on it and she said she'd work on it. Both Cass City and Deford post office U.S. flags need a light shining on them during darkness. They are still as of today being flown in the dark, not even taken down before dusk. It's disrespectful to the Soldiers who died for our freedom and to the Veterans the way the U.S. flag are hanging now in the dark no light shining on them. Take them down at dusk or properly illuminate them at night. Traditional guidelines call for displaying the flag in public only from sunrise to sunset. However, the flag may be displayed at all times if it's illuminated during darkness.
