Great location, friendly staff who are very patient. To top it all off when I brought my return in to be shipped out and forgot to tape it, they were kind enough to tape it for me with their tape tool thing. Whereas another location nearby would tell me I need to buy my own roll???? Cheapos. Anyways these guys here are great.

Not very friendly employees here at this UPS Store #5810. I will only come here to drop off pre-paid packages (I will NOT purchase their services), The employees at the counter are always giving the customers attitude and talking down to them, like it's their way or the highway. I used to manage a few UPS store for over 9 years and never would I allow the employees nor myself to treat the customers they way these people do. They need some re-training on customer service, or just find another job where they dont get to deal with people.

I have had so many negative interactions with the workers, I dread having to go to the Michigan ave. location. They are so rude and unprofessional. I try to avoid it if I can, but its the closest one to my house. I've been to this location several times since it opened a couple years ago. Most of my interactions with the staff have made me feel like Im a giant nuisance to their day. I've been there at all different times of the day. As early as 8am, mid day and right before closing. I've been helped by almost all of the workers and only for returns I have a code for or I already have a label on it. Every one of them has given a clipped generic greeting with scowls or completely blank faces. There was one scenario one of my larger purchases was shipped to me in just a plastic bag. I thought it was weird and not very secure, but it made it to me just fine, so oh well. So I went to return it in the same plastic bag. The worker looked at it like it personally offended him and told me 'you were supposed to package this one yourself. You didnt have a box to put it in?' In a rude tone that sounded like i was an idiot. I said no I don't and I'm sending it in the packaging I received it in, so I dont have boxes available. He picked it up, looked at it and said 'I find that hard to believe. But I guess I can wrap it in another bag.' And sighed as if I ruined his entire day. It was around 11am, mind you. The he scanned my code, looked at the screen and said 'oh I guess they did send it to you like this.' Why would I lie about what it was shipped it? I just wanted to leave so I finished my business said thank you and left.
My most recent transaction there, one of the workers helped me at the side desk instead of the main counter. She gave me most bland, not professional 'i can help you over here.' I had two items with scan codes. The first one was fine. The second one she looked at my phone, and said 'thats not for my store.' The way she said it was super irritated, as if 'how dare I forget I picked a different return option for staples instead of ups.' I understand having to work customer service jobs, I've had 3 jobs that were similar. I know customers an be pretty nasty and the job can be terrible. So I am not trying to go off on someone that is probably just ready to go home. I just said sorry I forgot, and left. I truly hate going to this location and I am choosing Staples or the Greenfield location if I can help it. The staff is way more polite there.

I’ve visited many UPS locations, but this one is by far the best. I intentionally come to this store because the customer service is excellent every time. The employees are knowledgeable, welcoming, and always make shipping, returns, and printing easy and stress-free. Highly recommended for anyone looking for reliable service!

I don’t typically leave negative reviews but sometimes it’s necessary. I wish I got the representatives name but I came in on Wednesday at about 2:45 pm. I don’t know if it’s a race issue and I would hate to believe it is since the majority of customers visiting this location are of different demographics, but when a representative of the company thinks it’s okay to explain something to a customer as if they’re stupid, it’s hard to believe it would be anything other than so. Came in with a package and a code to return my items and rather than the representative explaining to me why she couldn’t take my package or giving me another option, she just repeated the same sentence as if I spoke another language and wasn’t comprehending the language. English is my native language, I don’t need you repeating the same sentence, I need you to explain to me why you can’t take my package when I clearly have a code in my hand and how to move forward with the process. I was nothing but respectful attempting to figure out why she couldn’t take my package. And it’s extremely disrespectful to call your customers names as they walk out of your business. Unbelievable customer service. If I could give 0 stars I would.
