The people of this USPS location saved our day! We had a passport application appointment at another USPS location (Kalamazoo), but they canceled our appointment without notice after we arrived. We came to this Byron Center location immediately after without an appointment. We knew it was a long shot, we explained our dilemma and asked if they could squeeze us in. And you know what? They did! They showed us grace and helped us with our applications! They could have said “No”, but they chose kindness and helpfulness! We are grateful to the folks who helped us today!

I have TONS of problems with mail not being delivered and no help or response with missing mail but all I want to say is when is the parking lot of this place going to be fixed?! Byron Center is a nice place and the post office looks like it is in the ghetto… and it’s been like that (probably 50 potholes in the parking lot) for the 2 years I’ve gone there…

Rude. Rude. Rude. I’ve normally had good experiences with the staff here but today, this lady was so rude and impatient I just left :( she was even rude to the person behind me in line as I was leaving!

Had the worst "customer service" (and I use that term lightly) at the Byron Center post office today by a boy named Jacob. Jacob, who was clearly not mature enough to handle his emotions was rude and obnoxious and
clearly allowed his job status to go directly to his head! I wonder, is telling a customer that if they wish to send something "express mail" they will have to come back tomorrow and finish their transaction because it is 5 o'clock and they are closed the way we conduct business these days? I walked through the doors at 4:50pm and there was approximately a half a dozen people ahead of me but I guess it was too much to much to ask of Jacob get the same service, consideration and work ethic that was provided to the 6 people ahead of me? Seriously USPS ...is Jacob the best you can do? Sad!
