What a horrible experience with this location! I have never been treated so poorly by anyone associated with the USPS. I am out of state and sent my daughter important papers and items. Our tracking number said it had been delivered but it was not in her mailbox. She attempted to call them 4 times and was told they had nothing for her there. I called and what awful customer service from Rick who is apparently the "manager" (I use that term loosely). He yelled at me and ended up hanging up on me after telling me the item had no name or address on it. How in the world would that even be possible? I told him I personally addressed the envelope and he accused me of lying. Tell me how a package would get from South Carolina to Burton Michigan WITHOUT A NAME OR ADDRESS ON IT! I'm quite certain it's impossible for that to even happen. He hung up on me after yelling at me. I called back and spoke to Mary. Mary was the only thing positive about this situation. She was awesome (maybe Mary should be the manager since she actually has customer service skills!). She promised she would find out where the items were. Rick called me back to tell me he had spoken with the carrier who couldn't deliver it due to no name on the package. This is the most ridiculous excuse I've truly ever heard in my life. After more than an hour total arguing and refusing to back down, the carrier went back out and delivered the item. And please, tell me why it was listed as delivered if it wasn't? Get rid of Rick. Get rid of lazy carriers. Get rid of carriers who clearly can't read. Do your jobs, people and people won't be calling you all day to complain. Next time I'll send my items Fed Ex. It's better than having to deal with the incompetence that is present in this post office.

Just moved to within this offices coverage area. My apartment complex requires us to go here and get our "new" box keys for our building. I had to sign up on a list for a tech to come out and do the 2 minutes of work to get me my box set up & key, and thus the mail I have been waiting for for days now. I was told by a man that there were only about 2 or so customers in front of me, so he estimated a few days or so. It has now been 5+ days, and I STILL do not have a key yet for my box in our building. When I stopped in after about 4 days; he said I'll have to call and see later this week. CHRISTMAS week! Fat chance, eh? I'm not holding my breath on this place. I guess any holiday packages or $ cards from relatives will have to wait. How long? Your guess is as good as mine! Thanks for the shabby service! - - - May I suggest you all try the Atherton road station. (Near Fenton road, Flint.) Always had good people help me there with lots of different needs.
