My father cannot see, and, according to the Americans, with disabilities act, signed by President Bush Senior, is entitled to all the accommodations within his ability, by federal law. We used to get our mail delivered close to the house. But after my mother died, the lady delivering our mail Was downright rude to my father, and the postmaster back this up and finally The decision was made not to deliver our mail. This was never a problem, while my mother was living. Postmaster was very unkind to my father and treated him like he was less than just because he can’t see. When we switched our service to a post office box under another postmaster, many of our packages were not forwarded correctly. Including a book of my father’s bank checks. We assume they were thrown out. This means my father’s financial information was compromised. USPS has yet to make this right
- MHMelodie HNov 11, 20211.0I usually won't put a review out but this needs to be addressed by the USPS. I visited this office yesterday to get a book of stamps. The second I opened the door I was hit with a powerful smell of mold and mildew. Not a safe environment to work in USPS Dejoy. I immediately ask the USPS worker if she could smell it and she replied "Oh yes". We have had many people complain and the Inspector has been told about this health issue for its employees. I always have good service by the staff each time I come into this office, but with this mildew/mold issue I will be taking my service to another USPS office. Fix this issue Mr. DeJoy.
