- MBM BachSep 6, 20195.0The Atlanta P.O is in a small town in Northern MI & they are the type of business that adds to the charm of small towns & shoots down negative claims about small towns! My elderly father had difficulty at times, especially in bad weather, getting out to his mailbox. The postal carriers went out of their way to be sure he always got his mail, even if it meant trudging thru deep snow! They knew him by name & expressed sincere condolences, nice stories & their true affection for him on his passing. For years the postal carrier would leave treats in the mailbox for his dog, (& the dog reciprocated!). They added a smile to his life, & I will always be greatful!
- CCCaliforniaDreamrMar 19, 20185.0This is a very small town post office and we all know them by name. My next door neighbor is a postal worker - she delivers mail (not on our street). They are super nice, great service, very fast and helpful. You can get in and out in 10-15 minutes, at the most. Compare that to downstate where you wait and wait and wait and wait... there are hardly ever any lines and even when there is is one, they move very fast. They are closed for 2 hours for lunch, however, since there is only 1 or 2 workers inside. Most of the staff are out delivering our mail - even when we have 4 feet of snow. They deliver at the exact same time every day. We can count on them.
