- MWMolly WashoDec 4, 20251.0Arrived at 8:30 at the time of scheduled opening. They opened five minutes late with a line of people waiting. I could hear the workers in the back from the lobby shouting complaints and excessive profanity. What happened to the professionalism of the USPS?
- JJJuliaNov 23, 20251.0I’m always disappointed to see when a package is being delivered via USPS. The Yarmouth post office is incredibly unreliable. My mailbox is very easily accessible and many times I have received a notification stating “delivery attempted, could not access mailbox.” I could understand this if my mailbox were full, however our mail is collected daily and this has never been the case. Seems like packages get delivered when the driver feels like delivering them. And don’t even bother calling, the phone rings and rings without an answer. I have gone in a few times and the woman working is always condescending and rude. I understand this is an understaffed field of work, however a little politeness goes a long way in this town.

As I write, it's been five days since three packages were said to be out for delivery. See the attached photo for the odyssey of one of them, which is perishable and will likely have to be discarded if it ever arrives. (It's said to be out for delivery today, but we just got mail for the first time since last week--a catalog and a magazine for someone who doesn't live here!) As others have noted, nobody answers the phone. Going there to see what's up with my mail seems pointless, in part because of the rudeness of the staff, and in part because it appears these packages keep being put on and off delivery trucks.
