This locations customer service is absolute garbage.
I came in here the other day to ship an order of my pottery. I stamped each box with my business name and I kid you not the man checking me out placed the shipping label almost intentionally over each of my stamps on three different boxes. There were plenty of other areas he could have placed the label. He then continued to answer the questions on the screen for me after my first response as if I was unable to do this myself. When I chuckled thinking he was playing he didn’t laugh or acknowledge the humor and continued to answer the questions for me again regarding my next package. Each package was labeled as fragile and I directly told him they contained pottery and are very fragile. When dropping my packages off in the bin upon completing my checkout he LITERALLY tossed my packages into the bin without any consideration to what I had just told him. So incredibly rude. I would NOT recommend going here. You might as well just drive the extra miles to Portland where they treat you like actual human beings. There was no consideration to what was being shipped. No self aware awareness at all to the fact that I was a paying customer. Zero respect. I felt as if he was annoyed by my presence clearly is just there to get his hours in and pay his bills. I was also just notified that one of my items broke during shipping. Truly some of the worst service I’ve ever had at a post office. If I were Westbrook USPS I’d highly reconsider who they’re hiring to represent their post office. I was there on Wednesday 10/15 and the middle aged man who checked me out says he works there full time in case any higher management is reading these and cares to acknowledge their customer service.

P.O. Boxes aren’t accessible during the hours the post office is closed. Super weird. First place and only post office I’ve experienced this.
