- SRSJ RJan 28, 20252.0P.O. closing at 3:30 not available to the working class. How dumb is that decision? Mail may or maynot be delivered, or may not be picked up such as happened to me twice this month. My mail was not picked up on a day the roads were almost bare of snow. It was Not a Holiday. Can no longer contact P.O. by phone, no email. This organization protects itself very well from the public with little access. P.O. needs an answering machine for the customer to leave messages. Seems this operation after the revamping of the system is hit and miss depending upon the workers' moods. I know Congress has heldSenate investigative oversight committee hearings on the decline of this service and raked the Postmaster General Louis DeJoy over the coals, but the service has not improved, even with the help of AI. I've lost USPS packages, and I've not had outgoing mail picked up twice this month. The USPS website does not work, I've tried for two weeks to report missing packages, and when the send is hit, I get the message "Try later" or 'Sorry something went wrong" or the USPS email doesn't show arriving packages, or shows arriving mail that doesn't arrive such as yesterday when no mail carrier showed up. 1/27/25
