The new mail person refuses to deliver packages regardless of weather. Always have some reason ( driveway inaccessible, mailbox blocked ect even though there is never an issue. The old mail person would walk down my driveway in the winter, the new girl won't deliver if it's sunny and 75...

I don't like that they say they attempted delivery the day BEFORE the storm saying that they couldn't access my front door or mailbox but it was completely clear BEFORE DURING AND AFTER THE STORM... Again saying they attempted delivery 4 days AFTER THE STORM again, while it was completely clear and they never even drove past our house. When I try to call 5 days AFTER the Storm and 1 day AFTER the power was restored, I only get a busy signal starting at 7:30 am and I've attempted to call every single 5 minutes, still "busy" NOT OKAY WHEN THEY HAVE 5 CHRISTMAS PACKAGES (which UPS and FedEx have both delivered all my other pkgs just fine, both, before and after the storm.)

They out and out lie and say they attempted delivery and left a notice( at 9:16 when the carrier is lucky to be here by 11:30), but after my daughter checked the mailbox there was no notice and certainly not any of my other mail. Then when I try to call, they are closed until 1:30 and the call goes to a fax after a few rings. I attempted to call the USPS directly and there was an hour an a half wait. Becoming very disappointed with our post office here in Sumner.

Edit: I had to come back and add to my reciew. This post office is by far the laziest I've ever dealt with. They have cost me hundreds of dollars for various reasons, some in which I nearly called the police. One of the female drivers stops and visits with people, and shows up with our mail at all hours of the day. It used to show up at 3:30pm everyday and the last couple years she's been stopping here between 12pm and 6pm. I have outgoing packages that don't get to go out on time when she decides to show up 5 hours early! Then there are times when they only deliver half of my mail and keep the rest of it in their damn car overnight. That was the day I nearly called the cops. Like everyone else, we're tired if the post office only being open 5 random hours a day. They close at 10am-1:30pm then close up for good at 4. Then they are only open for 3 hours in Saturday. This causes MANY issues. The employees there are the types that will not go above and beyond, they won't even do the minimum. The ONE employee that DOES do their job is the nice old lady that works the front desk. She runs circles around everyone else! Fire those losers!
