Message to the disgruntled employee at Rockland, ME USPS: *Male approx 50s/60s, slightly darker complexion (possibly Indian, middle eastern or hispanic) short, salt and pepper hair, thin build about 5'5 wearing a gray usps shirt with no name tag.* Please do everyone a favor and find a different job! Just leave and move on if you're so grumpy that you're taking it out on customers. If not, stay in back and sort mail because you have zero customer service skills. The annoyance and frustration is mutual when your customers have to deal with a grown man with your attitude and lack of interpersonal skills. I feel bad for anyone who has to interact regularly or work with such a miserable person as yourself. It wasn't just a bad day, this is clearly routine behavior for you. I pray you are terminated before you go postal! This man is extremely rude and unprofessional. Unfortunately for me, he was the only employee working the front. I received a blank stare & no response after I greeted him (twice)! He proceeded to scan my packages and throw them behind him with one hitting the floor all while he had a look of pure annoyance on his face. No, he didn't bother to acknowledge it dropped or pick it up. He wasn't swamped or overwhelmed. I was the only customer at the time and he was just standing there. Someone walked in shortly after this and wasn't I surprised when he mumbled "have a good day" when he handed me my receipt then proceeded to mumble "how can I help you?" to the next person. Only when someone else was there to witness his behavior did he finally make a bit of effort to do his job. Others have left similar negative reviews after interactions with this particular employee. It's important to note that I have only had pleasant and professional interactions with other employees at this location prior to this experience. I recommend avoiding his line and any interaction with him or request another employee if possible if you go to this location and encounter him. I will be following up with a formal complaint to USPS and the local postmaster if there are any issues or delays with those packages due to this employee's misconduct and palpable malice. I encourage others to file a complaint with USPS and the postmaster if you have a similar, negative experience with this employee (description above). I will now be driving a little further to a different usps location with excellent customer service whose staff are always friendly, helpful and professional.

There’s a man who works here, he has salt and pepper colored hair, slicked back. He is very rude and unprofessional. Do not recommend visiting the post office if he’s working.

Staff are really nice and efficient. There is various counter space if you need to prepare your package. This location is really busy so there will be waiting and lines can get really long. I believe they close for lunch. It would be so much better if they get those new self-service kiosk to scan, buy labels, and drop-off packages, like at busier locations!!

I like this post office. Helpful people work there. But there should be a stamp machine in lobby allowing us to buy stamps when desk is closed.
