No one at the window. No note. No bell or anything. I called out to see if anyone was there, but no response. There should be someone there in the middle of a weekday. Also no self-service kiosk so I could not ship by myself.
I returned later and the employees were quite friendly and helpful. Just wish they would have had a sign earlier in the day to communicate their absence.

When they are open, I always have a good experience with the people at the registers. Unfortunately, it’s usually just one person, but they always get things done. I’m older and have problems walking and unfortunately, when I do make it up the hill to get to the post office. They are very often closed due to lack of staff. So not only have I paid for an Uber for nothing or a cab for nothing but when I try and walk up the hill, I make it all the way and there is no one there. There is no way to call and find out if they are open you get sent to 1000 different places when you call as far as please hold and take a show later etc.. It would be helpful if they just work number for that location that the public could call and find out if indeed they will be open. Thank you

The employee opened five minutes late. The door to the building was building was open, and I could hear her back there, but the gate over the window was closed. When she finally opened the gate, she was still on a personal phone call, which thankfully, she ended to finally start work.
The only reason I didn’t give this one star is because the lines are much shorter than the Forest ave location (due to lower demand, not better service) so I typically go here despite the service.
