Was supposed to get a package yesterday. It showed online that the package was there yesterday morning around 8. I never saw the mail carrier out and about yesterday evening. I would usually get mail on Mondays if I had any, really disappointed.

I have never been met with anything but kindness and patience from the whole staff here.

I have lived in Fryeburg for 2 weeks and have yet to have correct mail delivered. I have not received anything via USPS claiming my address is incomplete but other delivery services have had no issue. I have received people's mail from way away, but won't deliver my own. Infuriating. Look forward to seeing you later today. Tired of the lack of accountability for USPS.

Inside the post office the ladies at the front are for the most part pleasant and helpful. There is an older lady however who was extremely rude. The two stars is also because our mail delivery is sporadic.

I sent my mother a priority mail package. It was a book from my Catholic Church. They didn’t give me a receipt for it, shouldn’t have needed one. Also had two word search puzzle books . The tracking number said it was delivered on a Saturday afternoon, when mother was outside doing yard work. I sent a text asking her how she liked the gift… she called back asking what gift?! I spent a half an hour on the USPS website trying to file a claim, which I couldn’t because it was a loop that just kept bringing me back to the claim information page. I finally called the 800 number to file a claim there. Darn phone message wanted me to get a link in my text messages to go to USPS.com. Heck no! Been there, done that. Finally got through the Robo call and filed missing package report. Today a gentleman from the Fryeburg post office called and said that he had a picture of the package being put in the mailbox in front of the house. Well, mother’s mailbox is not in front of the house…. It’s on the other side of the dirt lane she lives on. Behind the mailboxes are woods. Also, she has her home number on the box. Only 3 homes on the dirt lane, and she’s friends with the guy right behind her. I didn’t realize there was a third home, but she said that people from southern New England had a vacation home next to her friend back there…. But haven’t been up in awhile. When she got home from running errands today, she checked that box and no package. She said that she’s gotten other people’s packages and had to bring them to the post office. So there’s an issue with the carrier in that town. I highly recommend having anything you send to this town to require a signature. Very disappointing. Zero stars for this post office. Didn’t appreciate the guy’s tone on that call this morning.
