- DADarla ArreguinApr 22, 20255.0Carrie goes above and beyond! She knows we raise chickens and they arrive both as fertile eggs & live birds. When once they got "lost in transit," she was on top of it! Making phone calls and creating a Case Number as well as updating me every step of the way (even though the problem was clearly in a different state). And the driver (Im frustrated I cannot remember his name) but he is very considerate, keeping the baby chicks up front, with him, where its warmer. Carrie always calls me as soon as they arrive, even if the Post Office hasnt quite opened yet, to give those chicks the best chance at getting to their new home asap. We are quite fortunate to have this staff and the attention to detail they give in Addison, ME.
- DLDaniel LutzOct 18, 20234.0Carrie is wonderful, very efficient and professional; I have no complaint with the Addison Post Office. However, I have noticed that many packages show up from Brewer distribution after hours, at which point they are driven back to Brewer to try again tomorrow. This happened twice the last two days on one small parcel and numerous times in the past. It seems that efficiency could be increased, and packages delivered on time, if there were an after-hours delivery mechanism: theft proof tip-box drop, USPS driver key, etc. Anything secure would increase mail flow and negate the need for the flow of mail/small packages and fuel back to the distribution point to try again tomorrow. This would be a 5 star review, but just wanted to bring that point up. Gas prices nowadays, you don't want to drive the same weight around too much. They add up.
