- RRRhineyJul 28, 20251.0I had a disappointing experience at the USPS Savage location on Monday, July 28 around 3 PM. I went in with one package that wasn’t taped yet, and although the staff member wasn’t outright rude, she wasn’t helpful either. Instead of simply offering a small piece of tape, she told me I had to purchase an entire roll. I ended up going all the way back home just to tape it myself. When I returned, I noticed a big roll of tape right behind the counter, which made it even more frustrating. Most USPS locations typically provide tape for small fixes like this, so I was shocked by the lack of basic customer support here. This is hands down the worst service I’ve ever experienced at a USPS branch. If customer service is supposed to be part of the job, then this location seriously needs to do better.
- RWRonald WilkesJun 19, 20255.0Savage, Maryland has a wonderful post office 🏤 with excellent knowledgeable clerks to deal with your postal needs. Also, they have mailboxes 📬 for rent in various sizes (see picture). The post office has 8 parcel lockers for mailbox customers where they can can pick up a package without having to go to the service counter. The clerks will leave a numbered (tells you which parcel locker) key in the rented mailbox. Parking: there are 5 spots and 1 for handicap ♿️ in the front of the post office 🏤 (see picture). There is a ramp which those in wheelchairs ♿️ can use to get to the post office 🏤 door 🚪. In the back, there are another 6 parked spots and 1 for handicap ♿️ (see picture). The post office is located right on Baltimore Street on the right going into Savage.
