- ATA Dose of Her TruthMay 15, 20241.0I wouldn’t be surprised in some of these reviews are not genuine. I regret to say that my experience with Sweet Media was extremely disappointing. From the beginning, they presented themselves as experts in web design, promising top-tier results. However, what I received was far from what was advertised or discussed in initial consultations. First and foremost, their communication was severely lacking. They were unresponsive to many emails and phone calls, leaving me in the dark about the progress of my project. Sometimes it would take days to just get an acknowledgment of an email or text I sent. Project deadlines were constantly missed. When they did finally deliver the product, it was so many errors and lacked the quality I was assured of. 90% of what was discussed was not implemented…and many things I asked for weren’t delivered although they were initially promised. They were even provided with websites to use as a reference, but still it seems as though they went with their own generic templates. Furthermore, it became evident that they misrepresented their skillset. The website they produced was mediocre at best, highly unprofessional, with basic design flaws and functionality issues. It was clear they did not possess the expertise they claimed to have. To top it off, their professionalism was sorely lacking. They missed deadlines without explanation and showed a blatant disregard for my concerns as a client. They gave generic lengthy apologies when I voiced my concerns, but weren’t proactive or eager to make appropriate timely accommodations. I asked for a partial refund, to be fair, and I was told the refund was not refundable per the contact. That’s incorrect. When I pointed out the actual language in the contact, I stopped hearing from the company. Overall, my experience with Sweet Media was a complete letdown, a waste of time, and completely inconvenient to the launch of my new business. Huge waste of money. I urge others to proceed with caution and thoroughly research other options before engaging their services.
