the black lady with red tinted hair that works behind the counter is extremely rude. She rolls her eyes and makes an audible sigh of irritation when any customer comes up to the counter and asks her to do her job. I guess we're preventing her from chatting with the other employees. We are constantly getting delayed mail/packages and lost mail and anytime we file a complaint, the local office staff is the one that does the investigation...and sure enough - its never resolved because they're the ones that aren't doing the job properly in the first place. The staff at this location needs to be replaced!!!

On May 3rd 2024 at 2pm, I was in the Jacksonville/Phoenix MD location to ship a package to my Husband who is over seas deployed to Iraq for the year. I have been trying to ship a box of Easter baskets that the kids had made him but was having trouble getting the box through customs. I didn’t understand what I was doing wrong on the customs form and asked the employee (a man) behind the counter for help. He stated to me “I don’t know, I don’t work for customs”. I found that to be very rude. As I explained to him the problem about my husband being deployed and how important this was to me and the kids he said “I don’t know why you’re even sending it again, I wouldn’t”. This almost had me in tears. I then said “if you were over seas wouldn’t you want something from your family”, to which he replied “I did serve and I didn’t want anything from them” and I stated “well he does” and he replied back “then him and I are different”. I then tried to fill out the customs forms to the best of my ability, without any help from the employee as he made faces and snickering at all the items I was writing down as being in the box. I was taken aback by this whole interaction and the lack of compassion for military members, families and just people in general. I’ve never felt so judged and disrespected. So much so that I’ve taken the time to actually write this. I will never visit this location ever again with this type of rudeness and unprofessional indecent human behavior. I’m so disappointed in the USPS who pride themselves on supporting our military who are deployed and assisting the families attempting to ship to them. Just disappointed and can’t express that enough

Worst post office I have ever head to deal with. They keep holding mail for no reason and then giving it to someone else. Giving mail to people that doesn't match on their I.D., how about they learn to do their jobs...

Service so bad, they should ask these people to be in a film about how not to do customer service. We did not receive our mail for 3 days, so I brought a printed piece of paper with our address on it to hand to the clerk and say, we haven't been receiving our mail. As I told her that and handed her the piece of paper, she snapped, "I don't need your paper, I can hear your words." She did nothing to address why we hadn't received our mail for 3 days other than to point out that one of them had been a holiday. Totally unhelpful. The final time I went to this post office, before I quit entirely and started going to the Wight Avenue location, three of us were standing in line waiting and ringing the bell and saying Hello. Finally a voice from the back complained, "I'm comin", and made other remarks when she came out. She didn't seem to understand that she is getting paid to be there, while other people are taking time out of their day to come to the post office to do their business. Their attitude is that they are doing you a favor. This is the worst post office I've ever been to, and I would never go there again.

Mr. Raymond Lowe would not ship a package for me that the girl previously told me that she would when I put it in a box came back with it in a box it's only 25 inches and 12lbs. car fender, would stand on it's own and they wouldn't ship it after the girl said she would. Totally wasted my time and I will not be returning to this location this location has a reputation for being the worst one. Not a great town to be racist in.
